July, 2012 | Newborn Photos | Smith Family

Hey Judah! Welcome to the world, Sweet Boy! Love him. Love his family. Really love his name. :)

Hey Judah | Walking Through Wonderland

My whole photography habit started with this family. My friend Leanna and I are pretty much always on the same page when it comes to the new projects I should take on. We started with Tulle Tutus, moved on to Fondant Cakes, and because she and Ryan just make such beautiful babes, decided to add photography to the list.

It started with the two of us just getting Madelyn all dressed up (all the time) and taking pictures of her. How could we not!?!

Oh big sister, how you always sparkle!

A few months ago I shot their maternity pics and now… I finally get to get my hands on a newborn Smith baby. I know Leanna kind of wishes he would have stayed in to cook a little bit longer, but I just love how tiny and perfect this healthy little man is!!!

Leanna had a lot of ideas for Judah’s newborn session and like I said early, we are always on the same page, so I loved all the work she put in to getting everything ready before I had even arrived. The only shot we were pretty bummed that we didn’t get was the one of Judah in a cowboy boot. But these mailbox shots… Ahhhhh! I just can’t get enough.

Madelyn was the perfect big sister- happy to give her new baby brudder all the kisses in the world. I just loved seeing her with him. I can’t believe when I’ve known her since she was just a little bit bigger than he is. Are you allowed to say “they grow up too fast” when they aren’t even yours?

So grateful for this beautiful mama and all of the memories we have made together over the last few years. If I ever do get around to having some of my own- they are going to be awfully lucky to have an Aunt Leanna.
