Family Photos Okinawa: Toguchi

Looking for Family Photos Okinawa style? There’s no where better than Toguchi- and everybody knows it!

Family Beach Photography | Walking Through Wonderland
I love shooting at Toguchi for the same reasons that everyone else in Okinawa loves shooting family beach photos here. You get gorgeous light in the caves a bit before “golden hour”, and as soon as you finish up there, the sun has moved into perfect position up by the beach. Besides, what family doesn’t want beach pics and cave pics all at one perfect location?

Family Beach Photography-14Riley was all smiles in the caves. But… during the first ten minutes after we moved up to the beach there was a wipe-out that left this pretty little thing with a not-so-pretty bloody mouth. Luckily mom and dad were troopers! Most dads I know would have called it then and there, but Josh came to the rescue with snacks, while Stephanie provided all the feel-better snuggles her little girl needed. After a couple of songs and a little splashing, we got right back to smiling. Might not have gotten there quite in time for golden hour, but those big blue eyes more than make up for it!

Oh… and just for fun, here’s one shot we captured on the seawall outside the house. I can’t help but include it. That face!!

She might have been blowing kisses, but to me she looks like she is keeping a great big secret. And I love it. Riley, signing off!
