So, to be completely honest with you… this idea was a total bust. I didn’t really advertise it well (and someone came along after me and offered a similar product for about a quarter of the price– Ohhh Okinawa!) Plus I was still moving around on a broken foot and it was my first time using studio lighting in our little apartment. So those are some of the reasons I have come up with, but one way or another, it didn’t work out the way I envisioned.
I had a blast setting it up, and my four little models were some of my favorite kids
on the island, okay- in the world, so overall we will call it a win, but as far as making some money back… yeah… total fail.
In the end, everyone who contacted me for Christmas photos wanted family Christmas photos. No one seemed interested in booking Christmas minis of just their minis. Noted. Next year I might have to try a different approach. Or at least market it differently!
